I. Connect
Documenting your family is something that requires trust and vulnerability. I want to honor the season of life you are in and capture it in an honest, genuine way. Each family is unique and I will take the time to get to know you in order to document your family and all the details, quirks, and sweet moments you want to remember with your loved ones. I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera and provide space for you to connect with your people. II. Collaborate
Once the contracts and deposits are taken care of, the real fun begins! I'll send you a questionnaire to better understand you and your loved ones and work on a mood board to nail down the style you're going for. We'll also have a chat to address any questions you may have. This process requires some time and honesty, but the results will be truly worth it as we aim to capture the essence of your family. I want everyone involved to feel prepared and excited for the session, including partners. Kids will be kids, and we'll ensure everything goes smoothly. And while we keep things light-hearted, I do have a 'no grumpy husband' policy! (Just kidding, but you get the point!)
III. Create
On your session day, relax and feel at ease – it's just like spending time with your people while I capture those special moments. I'll create an atmosphere of intentional connection, providing a break from the daily rush. My goal is to make everyone feel comfortable, seen, and ensure the experience is natural and unhurried. I will provide direction when needed but will stay away from awkward poses and forced moments. Once your photos are ready, you'll receive them in high resolution in an online gallery with access to download and print.

What if my kids aren't feeling it?
As a mother of two myself, I know that kids can be unpredictable, and that's totally ok! I welcome the chaos and unexpected because that usually produces some of the best connections. I'm a big advocate of bringing snacks (that aren't messy - think dry snacks, apples, etc.) and playing your family's favorite tunes. Whatever it takes to make sure everyone is having a good time. I also encourage parents to not take things so seriously on the day of session. Our time is meant to be a reflection of your day to day so if your kid is wild, let them be!
Will you help in choosing outfits to wear?
Absolutely! Upon booking, I send over a Welcome Guide that provides suggestions on what to wear, tones, and favorite stores. I will also work with you to create a mood board for your session where I include color palettes to give you an idea of where to start. This part of preparing for your session does not need to be stressful, I am here to help!
How many photos will we receive and how long do we have to wait to get our full gallery of images?
The amount of images you will receive will depend on the package you choose, but I prioritize documenting your story and will ensure you receive all the best images that beautifully capture your narrative. Galleries typically take 3-4 weeks to deliver as I focus on giving each gallery my full attention and don't rush the editing process.
